Zoey Dean

Zoey Dean is an author and entrepreneur best known for her best-selling young adult novel series, also the author of The A-List series and How to Teach Filthy Rich Girls , the latter of which is scheduled to debut as a TV show on the CW in September 2008. Zoey Dean's books are produced by the media packager Alloy Entertainment, which created Gossip Girl, The Clique Series, and The A-List and sold them to Little, Brown and Company. Zoey is currently working on The Talent Series, the first two books to be released sometime in 2008, published by Razorbill.

Originally from San Diego, California, Zoey moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in television writing. She soon realized that she would rather focus on telling her own stories and subsequently turned to writing novels instead.

Since publishing her first novel, Zoey has gone on to become a New York Times best-selling author, writing a total of seventeen books. She has become well-known for her edgy stories that offer insight into the complexities of the teenage psyche. Through her writing, she highlights the insecurity of adolescence while also celebrating its potential for transformation and growth.

Outside of fiction writing, Zoey has become a well-respected entrepreneur and motivational speaker, appearing at conferences and events across North America and the UK. She founded The E-list Company, Inc., an L.A.-based company which provides books, merchandise, and literary advice to young adult authors and entrepreneurs. She also serves on the board of advisors for the Girls Leadership Institute, which promotes the self-confidence and resilience of teenage girls.

Wherever Zoey goes, she exudes inspiration and motivation. Speaking about the teenage experience, Zoey has said; 'Adolescence is a rollercoaster ride, and often not a fun one, but it's also a time of tremendous growth and potential. It's not something to shy away from. It's something to embrace.'

From her groundbreaking young adult novelist series to her influential work in the field of teenage motivation, Zoey Dean is an author and entrepreneur who has consistently strived to help young adults discover their potential and continue to grow and evolve.
