Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.
The story involves the murder of one of a set of identical twins. The twins are so identical that the authorities are never quite sure which of the twins was actually murdered, and simply assume that it is the 'dominant' one. After the years of psychotherapy, the surviving twin tries to lead a normal life and attends a local college. A series of murders begins occurring. A family friend of the twins realizes that the murders are the result of the surviving twin hunting down the murderer of her sister. After successfully finding and killing her sister's murderer, she is caught and put on trial. As she was clearly driven insane by the killing of her twin, she put under the care of some nuns at a convent for the rest of her life.
