Rakkety Tam begins with Gulo the Savage, a ruthless wolverine who, in pursuit of his brother,Askor, has come to the shores of Mossflower country. He and his white vermin trek through Mossflower looking for the Walking Stone, the symbol of power over the land of ice. When Gulo finds his brother dead and the walking stone gone, he sets his sights on Redwall Abbey. Who will stop him? Rakkety Tam MacBurl and his mate, Wild Doogy Plumm, along with many other brave beasts stand in Gulo's way. As the final battle looms, it is uncertain who will emerge victorious.
