Outcast of Redwall
The Outcast of Redwall is the eighth book in the Redwall series, written by Brian Jacques. It was published in 1995.
This book tells the story of a young ferret, the abandoned son of the vermin lord Swartt Sixclaw. The young ferret is found by creatures from Redwall Abbey, renamed Veil, and taken in and raised like any other child. However, his vermin breeding quickly becomes evident, and he is exiled from Redwall after an attempt to poison a friar. He then begins on a quest to find his father.
