Lord Brocktree
Lord Brocktree is a novel by Brian Jacques, the thirteenth
in the Redwall series. It was published in 2000.
The book focuses on a badger, Brocktree, and haremaid
Dotti as they journey towards Salamandastron, the mountain fortress
of badger lords, to protect it from the wildcat Ungatt Trunn. With
Brocktree's help, the army is able to save the fortress from being
overrun by the Blue Hordes. Brocktree then assumes the throne of Lord
of Salamandastron and creates The Long Patrol
Lord Brocktree is the only book in the series that takes
place before the birth of Martin the Warrior.
