Dan Brown

Dan Brown is an American author well known for his thriller fiction and became famous in 2003 for bestselling novel, The Da Vinci Code. Brown's novels, which include treasure hunts, set in a 24-hour time period, mark the recurring themes of cryptography, keys, signs, codes, and plot theories. His books have been converted into 40 languages and sold over 80 million copies.
Brown's novels that mark the lead character Robert Langdon also consist of historical themes, Christianity as recurring motifs and as a result have generated controversy. Brown states on his website that the books written by him are not anti-Christian, though he is on a 'constant spiritual journey' himself, and says of his book The Da Vinci Code.
