She is an American writer and graduate of Clarion West
who lives in Yorkshire England. Burgis writes contemporary and historical
fantasy, edits the website of her local opera company, and is a PhD
student in music history. Her primary historical fantasy novel, Masks
and Shadows, is represented by Shawna McCarthy.
