Bio

Chris Roberson is a writer, editor, and a publisher. His story "O One," which appeared in Live Without A Net (Roc, 2003), won the 2003 Sidewise Award for Best Short-Form Alternate History, was listed as an Honorable Mention in the 21st Annual Year's Best Science Fiction, and was nominated for the 2004 World Fantasy Award for Short Fiction. In 2003, Roberson and his business partner and spouse Allison Baker released the independent press MonkeyBrain Books, an imprint specializing in nonfiction genre studies. Releases include the amazing talents of Michael Moorcock, Alan Moore, Robert Silverberg, David Brin, Jonathan Lethem, Robert J. Sawyer, Michael Swanwick, China Mieville, Jeff VanderMeer, Jess Nevins, Lou Anders, and more. Chris lives in Austin, Texas with his wife, their daughter, and his library.
