Alma has lived and worked on four continents and
in more than six countries. She is presently based in the Pacific Northwest,
where she lives with her husband and two cats. Her international success,
"The Secrets of Jin Shei", has been published in 10 languages
and more than 20 countries, and a follow-up to "The Secrets of Jin
Shei", entitled "Embers of Heaven", has immediately been
released in Australia and New Zealand, to be followed by the UK shortly
this year. At present she is working on a new YA fantasy trilogy, the
first book of which is set for release in the USA in the winter of 2006.
